With his leadership skills, he effectively balances the needs of the cast and crew while staying true to his directorial vision.
 

Born and raised in New Orleans, Sherman's upbringing involved writing and directing plays at his parents' church, igniting his enduring passion for storytelling. This interest led him to study acting in college and eventually transition to working behind the camera.

As a dedicated father of three, Sherman has developed a clear vision of the role model he aspires to be for his family. Diligence, perseverance, and integrity are fundamental values that he upholds in both his professional and personal life.
 

In recent years, Sherman has been instrumental as the 1st Assistant Director in the NCIS:NEW ORLEANS & NCIS: HAWAI’I franchises. His dedication and creative contributions to both NCIS series earned him the opportunity to direct episodes for each show.
